On December 31, 2014 I received an unsolicited telephone call from Elite Mini Vacations (888-451-5594) for an vacation offer. I transferred the caller to my wife, Diana.

Kelly Saragoza (775-624-7692) sold us a mini vacation at the Linq Hotel in Las Vegas for $319 (conf# col8623243801). We told them we would use it during our children's spring recess from school during week of February 16-20 and no other week would fit in our schedule. She stated they could easily accommodate our schedule. New Years passed and on January 2, 2015 we called Elite Mini Vacations to make the reservations so we could purchase the airline tickets.

Everytime we called, no one would pick up. Eventually someone answered and stated the business suffered a fire and the sprinkler system had damaged their computers. They said they were unable to make the reservation for us and unable to refund the deposit. They told us to wait about a week and their system should be functioning then. We called a week later but no one answered. We called approximately 4 times over the next week until we finally got into contact with Kelly Saragoza who told my wife that a refund is not allowed because company policy states it must be within 7 days.

They never told us this nor was it written on their email attachment they sent us. Why are we penalized for their error? As such I believe this company is fraudulent and should be investigated by the authorities. No legitimate company would do this.
