I would not recommend anyone going to this dealership, Ella’s Auto Outlet (previous trade name was Triforce Motors) located at 6241 Jefferson Davis Highway, in Thornburg, VA. The vehicle I brought should had been send to the salvage yard.  It cost more to fix the vehicle then the vehicle was worth.  I believe this Dealer intentionally trick me by clearing Engine Codes on this vehicle. To me this is theft by deception.

I purchase a 2004 Lincoln LS with 106627 miles on 11-29-2014 from Ella’s Auto Outlet (previous trade name was Triforce Motors). Before I could get the vehicle to pass emission inspection, I had to spend an addition $6044.51. The total cost after repairs was $9743.51.

I rode all the way from Manassas Virginia to look at three vehicles that was advertised online. Two of the vehicles was already sold the day before at least that is what the sell person told me.  I notice the vehicle that I purchase was still being advertise on their own website www.triforcemotors.com as late as 12-23-2014. This is a whole four weeks after I purchased it.

The battery in the vehicle needed to be jump started before I could test drive the vehicle.  Before buying the vehicle, I drove the vehicle for about 10 miles, it seems to be driving ok. But the oil need to be changed. I agree to purchase the vehicle after they changed the oil and replace the battery. Neither the battery nor the oil was changed as agree. After paying for the vehicle, I headed to my stepdaughter house. On the way there, I did not notice any problem with the vehicle, until I slowed down and the transmission needed to shift gears. At that time the shift into 2nd or 3rd gear was not smooth.

The next morning I checked the oil and notice it was not changed as promised. So I went to Jiffy lube to have the oil changed ($45.13). I did some errands and then went back to my stepdaughter house. The vehicle set for two day before I started the vehicles again. It did not start like it should, something seem wrong. I drove it to a local garage for diagnose. The garage found an Ignition Coil was bad. I knew the Window need to be worked on when I brought the vehicle, so I had that fix too. ($595.10). Picked the vehicle up and was driving back to my stepdaughter house when I came to a complete stop, the vehicle engine die on me.

It would crank and start but not stay running. I call the warranty company to tow the vehicle back to the garage. The garage mechanic could not get any reading on his diagnose machine. Since the garage did not has the machine to test the problem out, I had to pay $75.00 to get it tow to a Ford Dealer. The warranty company would not tow if again until 7 days from the previous towing. The Ford Shop said the throttle body assembly need to be replaced. The Ford Shop also found out the battery was faulty.  I also order a second set of keys since I was only given one set. ($1288.84).

It changed gear ok when it was cold, but not after it warmed up. The AAMPC shop say the transmission need to be rebuilt. ($3417.57). I then took the vehicle for emission inspection again, it still was not ready for testing.

Remember the battery in the vehicle needed to be jump started before I could test drive the vehicle.  At first I did not consider this a problem. But a dead battery will reset and turn off the Check Engine Light and clear all ODB code that would call the Check Engine Light to come on. When I first took the vehicle for Emission inspection on 12-13-2014 none of the OBD Monitor Readiness Status was Ready, so the emission testing could not be done.  But the follow code was recorded P0300, P0316, P2195 and P2197. I took it back on 1-27-2015, all the OBD Monitor Readiness Status was Ready but the vehicle fail emission due to P0420 and P0430.

It cost be another $1622.92 to replace the two Catalytic Convertor, so the vehicle would pass emission.
This Vehicle by Kelly Blue Book value was around $3,695.00.
