Get ready again for another name game! Elocal Listing is selling another advertising video product that they created - wait! Im sorry, it is actually www.SpotRunner.com product copied. Are they reselling? Maybe. Or as usual, they steal the concept and try to brand it as their own.
No worries SpotRunner. Im sure their high pressure sales team will promise more customers to clients and then as the past has shown, the will not provide the service. Customer Service will get calls. Typical hang-ups. Long holding times. Well, at least they are trying.
How do I know this? Well, I originally signed up with Zone Communications for their local listing service. Oh, but later realized that they were reselling another company by the name of Relevant Yellow. No problem with that, many companies do that very well. Until I had spelling issues in my business name AND the wrong phone number, then billing issues because some guy promised a free month because of the error, and needed to speak with customer service. What a joke! I saw my listing change and found they were trying to do it themselves.

I get calls from Elocal (or one of their Affiliates that are not trained very well) almost every week. They really need to set a better process on how many times to call. They even tried to sell me the same original program for a $1.00 to start. Now they offer video and commercials. From what the wacky saleswoman said (flirting with me was her tactic), and a bit of my own digging, they now are trying to use the name buzzspot! If they run like the past, call nonstop, sell you a dream of customers, and better yet say they have customers, most likely you will be disappointed too.
Do your own due diligence. If there are 20+ million businesses in the United States, why do they call mine so often? Just because I tried once, or because I can choose not to pay for their service of getting listed in the local section of Google, Yahoo, and MSN because I did that myself?
Dont get hooked by their pressure. I am looking into what can be done with the constant calls I get. They do not take you off their call list. Forget the product, I feel harassed!
