I have a 20 year old respected photography business. ELocalListing promised if they did not improve my google and yahoo ranking in 30 days I could have a refund. They took my information. I was astonished 26 days later to find the following.

Despite forbidding them to post my home address (I have been stalked), and despite telling me they would not, they did so anyway. They posted that my business takes credit cards but not cash or check (when the opposite is true). They posted the wrong business name for my company on Google, then posted a completely different other wrong business name on Yahoo! They posted a video I have never seen or authorized and ascribed it to me. When viewers watch it they are automatically taken to my competition.

Worst of all, I had had a reasonable ranking in Yahoo that comes from my having a good website and 20 years in the same location. Now I do not show up in Yahoo even in the first 90 pages. They destroyed all my listings.

When I called to complain I was "misinformed". I was told Google and Yahoo require home address to be posted. That is a falsehood you can easily verify. I was told a manager would call and arrange a refund, as promised. I received no call nor refund. I was told someone would look into correcting the mess they left at Yahoo and Google. I have had no phone calls. I was told I would be emailed a case number. I was never emailed.

I feel very victimized and I don't even know yet the extent of the damage to my previous good search listings.
