 Last September in 2014 i went to timpanogos regional hospital for a blockage in my esophagus and to get the care that i needed. When i arrived, the hospital staff were not of the caring variety. They were only concerned about themselves and the money that they were going to make off of me. The only thing that the er doctor accomplished was to tell me that it wasn't his fault for calling in the same specialist that abused me in 2012. I left in tears to find another hospital that could help me. I told the specialist, that i would not allow him to touch me again. I finally found a hospital that treated me with the utmost respect and retrieved the object and the er doctor did not charge me for his bill. 2 weeks later, a bill came for me from epic saying that i owed this much which was $350.00 dollars to the stupid er doctor who blamed me that night. I don't qualify for any medical insurances, i don't have a job because i am disabled and i asked them repeatedly for financial assistance. They gave me the run-around over and over. They finally deducted half the bill when i told them that the hospital wrote off my bill. But they still would not grant me financial assistance. Over and over and over i requested financial assistance and they would not comply. Now they are threatening me by telling me that they will push my bill into a credit bureau and ruin my credit. They have no right. I have no way to pay them since one of my family members made me lose my disability. Now i have nothing to show for it. And still they keep on harassing me. This whole thing is not my fault but they do not care. They really don't need the money, they just want to harass you until you give them the money. It is coming up on a year next month. But who cares? Right? If you can help me it would be most appreciated. Thanks!
