A month or so ago, I ordered a targeted opt-in email ad campaign from emailadCampaigns.com @ $49.00 for 350,000 emails. I got over 2,000 hits, but 0 (zero) sales. I thought that was strange, because the product only cost $50.00, but I ran a new campaign referring to a different website anyway. This time I built the website myself and had website tracking for my hits. I had 5 pages on this new website, but prospects had been choosing the Our Products page normally, after landing on the index page, when I was doing this thru Google AdWords. When the emailadCampaign.com campaign started, I immediately got several thousand hits to the index page, but nothing to any other pages. I wanted to know how this was possible. Then, after researching, I found a software package for sale on the internet called Fake Hits Genie. It will produce fake hits to any website, but does not have the ability to drill down to any other pages within the website. It was then obvious to me that emailadcampaigns is ripping off their customer by using this type of software. It's the only logical explanation. If a human being was going the website (http://www.boutiquebountiful.com) they would naturally have to go to another page. See for yourself. I have written to emailadCampaigns complaining, but they have not responded. What can they say? I have caught them and they know it. Buyer beware!

I'm Surprised!!!

I've used this company to advertise my business in the past - It worked pretty well! I made A LOT of sales! I'm surprised it didn't work for you! What were you selling? Advertising with emails can be very tricky if you don't know what you're doing!
I went to http://www.boutiquebountiful.com (The site you said you advertised) and it doesn't really seem like a serious shopping website. The products page has a bunch of banners on it - were you "banking" on people clicking on those banners?
With emails, the first thing you need is a GOOD Landing Page! Once the person clicks on your link in the email, you need to send them to a page to collect their basic information, don't just throw them to a rinky-dinky website and expect them to buy something! After you collect their basic information, you can now "drip" with auto-responders over a period of a couple days different targeted offers that you have on your website! That way you'll keep that visitor coming back over and over again. Sometimes it takes more than 1 email for that 1 customer to end up buying your product! If I were you I'd do some research and understand what all is involved in email marketing before i accuse someone (or some company) of falsely misleading their customers!!
Constructive criticism is the BEST criticism!
Good luck!
