On May the 13th 2002, we sent EMC $5,200 to stop foreclosure on our home. But instead they took the money and continued with the foreclosure.

On the same date we made an agreement with Ron in the litigations department to pay the $5,200 and to also make payments of $2,800 for 4 consecutive months. After 4 months of making the payments on time, they did'nt modify the loan, didn't apply the money to the account, and that's when we found out we were never taken out of the foreclosure.

After battling with the company for over a 4 month period, we then hired an attorney. We paid over $5,000 to him and in return nothing was done. EMC then placed our house up for sale in our local news paper without notifying the attorney nor the homeowners. That then left me no other choice but to file a chapter 13 in order to save our home from this "blood sucking company".

Till this day my husband and I are still fighting them. We are now paying $1,900 a month to the mortage company and $970 to the trustees each month, trying to save our home from such a crooked company!!
