Emergency vet of Port Charlotte, FL Service during pet's care Port Charlotte Florida

On December 21st I took my dog into the emergency vet.  It was decided best to put her to sleep.  The girl came and presented me with a bill saying I can take the payment now. I presented a check to her, she said we don't accept checks. She asked me to go out at 2am to an atm for the funds.

I left and could not access one, I was very upset, I called the vet , she said can you use a credit card I did not have any with me. Put me on hold, came back saying we will take the check, and hold your dog until it clears. 

I feel it was very uncaring to send me out at 2am when I was so upset about my pet. She could have just checked with the vet in the first place, as they accepted the check anyway. 

Next visit on December 30th to pick up my dog's remains, I waited at the front desk while the girl working ignored me and helped two other people. I finally had to speak up and a man helped me. I had bad memories being there, I wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. She was rude.
