We had the misfortune of being involved with Emil Juresic more than a decade ago when he fronted Juresic Constructions Pty. Ltd. Emil and his then wife (Giselle) presented as a legitimate building and construction company, however the deeper we dug the more concerned we became as to their business ethics and ability to deliver anything.

Thankfully we were one of the lucky ones, terminating our contract with this individual before he was further able to ruin our life. Others weren't so lucky, as he left a trail of financially destroyed families across the Brisbane region with properties partly completed and/or with such poor workmanship that they had to be torn down.

Juresic's qualifications? None, he was a plaster - nothing more, nothing less, but he managed to rort thousands of dollars out of people to live the high life before ultimately the QBCC (or as it was then the QBSA), ASIC and the Australian Tax Office caught up with him deregistering his "building" (for lack of a better term) company and various other rorts such as Juresic Finance Pty. Ltd.
