Ive been looking for work to do from home so i can stay at home with my 2yr old daughter. I found some mystery shopper jobs that looked legit,i had also done lots of research on scams and watched several tv shows about themand none of them said anyhting about mystery soppers sending legitimate checks. They were all about ones that send you a cashiers check which i had not recieved. so i sighned up for one. a week later i recieved a check for the amount of $2,980.00. I looked at the check to make sure it wasnt a fake check, and it wasn't. S i called the number that was provided and talked to rosie mayfield. She told me to deposit the check, fill out a form. Then call her when it clears so that i could withdraw the amount i needed to send a money gram, i thought it was so i could do a coustomer review of money gram. then i as to call her to let her know what store i was going to spend 200 dollars at. i called her back to get the info for the money gram trasaction, then when i was done withe that i called her again to give her the reference number. when i was done shopping at walmart (which was the store i had picked), i was instructed to fill out the review form and fax it. Well on june 9th 2008, i viewed my bank account and the check they sent me was canceled. this happened after i had completed what she instructed me to do. i called her, and she said that she would call me back in 5 min, to let me know why that hapened. i havn't heard from her since. Now i was the victom of two scams because they came at around the same time, and did not know the out come of the first one till mid week.

real check

HOW and YOU personally tell that the check is real? You can not tell just by looking at it. Obviously, you did NOT do all your research , like checking on here first, or you would have found out it is all a scam. That is NOT how secret shopping works. You have learned a very valuable lesson, hopefully, ANYTINE someone sends you a check like taht in teh mail IT IS A SCAM. and ANYTIME you ahvge to send money by moneygram IT IS A SCAM. Repeat after me IT IS A SCAM. You are lucky you are not in jail for passing a bad check. Use some common sense next time.
