This individual purports to deal with high dollar clients, and, big money investments.  Anyone working in the securities arena is very heavily vetted.  There is someone who happens to be listed on the SEC Broker Check that does have the name provided at the time.  But, this person claiming this name in connection with Empire Global Investments trapses around Las Vegas, while claiming to reside in California, has a company based in Chicago, and, the person on the broker check is not affiliated with any of these locations.  Please know that upon further exploration, many variations of this Phil / Filippo name appear all through out this site accompanied by numerous complaints from professional to personal. 

As for this company "Empire Global Investments," it doesn't check out, um, anywhere.  Try getting involved, and, see if you can get anyone other than "Phil" to answer the calls, add to that, see if you get any live person or return calls or e-mails much after initial communications.  Be advised this person can does have a reasonably good understanding of the intracies of stocks, current market conditions, and, finance.  But with that knowledge, he seem to conjur up any one number of ever evolving money scams purpotrated from any variety of names and companies.  BEWARE.
