Empire Marketing Echo Inc., Oxford Marketing Solutions, and Cydcor are rip-offs! Unethical! Pennsylvania

BEWARE:

I have to agree with others that have raised reports on here against CYDCOR. This is a completely unethical company in every respect of the word. First you must realize that you are being told that you will be in an entry level marketing position for an advertising firm, and then made management in about six months. However, this never happens. But that is just the jumping off point.

You are told that you will at least make 500 dollars per week. However, what you aren't told until later is that this is completely based on commission. If you don't sell, you don't make any money, not a dime. Not to mention that you have to pay for your own mileage and your own tools without any reimbursement. Good luck. You have to go to about 75-80 businesses per and peddle watercoolers. Let's see, watercoolers hardly exist in any business, and those that do want them, already have them.

The pricing structure is also very strange, in that you cannot beat other manufacturers with the Sparkletts Price (That's the name of the company that this office represents). So making a sale is a completely ludacrous processing of lying to one business owner after another.

There are also no desks for the employees at this "firm", and no phones to call clients either. You have to use your own cell phone, and your own minutes, again with no reimbursement.

An typical employee at this place arrives at 5:30 A.M. and leaves at about 9:00 P.M. For the hours you are putting in here versus the money you'd be making it would be better to work for McDonald's flipping burgers. Don't get me wrong I did see someone get a check for $1,000.00 during my tenure there, but that was one guy in three months.

Also, the turn on employees is so fast it'll make your head spin. The ads in the paper and on Monster and all the other job sites are seeming endless. Is this because this and other companies like it have endless jobs to fill. No. It's because the month prior to that listing the "firm" "hired" 12 people. These people didn't sell, or couldn't sell, or whatever the case may be, so LIZ HARMON, the effervescent owner, is now firing them. So, you see, she now needs 12 new idiots to go trapsing about the suburbs of Philadelphia, in the rain, heat, snow, hail, and what have you for the next month, until she has enough money to run a new ad for new people.

Oh and let's not forget, even though I didn't get fired (I left in order to take a position at a real firm), I saw what happened when people did. Liz, as I mentioned earlier is quite savvy, and able to make your money situation after Echo, Empire, Cydcor, or whatever its called even worse than you were when you were making measly nothings "working for her". She fills out paperwork fictiously, making it look as though you, the employee, quit, and are now not eligible for unemployment.

This umemployment situation only occurs, however, if you are a resident of PA. IF you are a resident of NJ, which borders the location, and some are, you will still be eligible. What a rip.

All in all, I'd have to say that this company is the most petty, theiving, lying machination I have ever encountered. Save yourself the trouble, the mileage, the gas, the tolls, and the headache. IF you see an ad for empire, echo inc., cydcor, or any other "markting firm" on a job site that says pay based on performance, or just doesn't say, or says no research or graphic design. This means its Cydcor, or a similar business model. Steer clear, and make your career elsewhere.
