Empire Medical Billing lies to their customers about the unpaid claims, they write off anything over 4 months old and tries to hide it from their customers. They only have a few employees even though they claim to be much bigger.
They try and outsource to other countries illegally and end up screwing up your practice. Non of their employees are Certified Professional Coders so they have no idea what they are doing.
One of the owners has a ownership in Fifth Avenue Surgery Center and they conveniently use them as a reference so they can get more customers. Claims are consistently underpaid and they just let it go because they don't have enough staff to deal with all the work.
The owner James, is a total lair an will try and con you into giving him the medical billing business. Empire Medical Billing is the worst billing company of all time.
They claim that there is no contract but end up suing you anyway. Do not fall for the no contract they make you sign other documents locking you into a long term agreement.

We are outraged that someone would write such defamatory statements about Empire Medical Billing. Dr. James Anonymous could not possibly be one of the doctors or practices Empire does business with because the letter is poorly written and has too many spelling errors. Any doctor with a valid complaint would not be "anonymous" and would be more specific on how his practice was screwed up by Empire's Billing. Dr. Anonymous sounds like a disgruntled employee or competitor who wants to damage our reputable business. We take our business seriously and take pride in how we handle our accounts. We intend to investigate the source of this libelous report and take appropriate action.
