I am an ex-employee of empire. My name doesn't matter. I just wanted to comment after I heard the drama Erica Roth AKA Vanessa Roth was causing Empire. Empire was good to me and as far as I am concerned from what I saw Empire was good to everyone else as well. Now we have to sit back for a minute and look at the whole picture. I can testify for a fact that Empire does the work and hires nothing but the best when it comes to grant writers. I saw the files, video interviews ect. Rosa is not a Grantwriter. She actually does nothing!

She sits behind a desk and does nothing. I actually spoke to you a couple times when you wrote a check that bounced "Weeve Palace" but you don't mention me? Erica Roth is vindictive, spoiled and extremely over weight. She weighs about 300 pounds, is a single mother and is roughly 23-24 years old. She has a criminal record. Lives with her parents is on welfare and has no job. As a matter of fact I worked with Erica Roth at Four Season Consulting where she employed for almost a year. And guess who got her the Job? Rosa.

They were the best of friends! Then Rosa quit. Shortly after Erica Roth got fired. guess what Erica did??? Went to the FBI to report Four Seasons.! What a scum bag. Erica would tell me an another co worker how she had sugar daddy's an how she pimps guys. How she posts craigslist ads, drug guys then rob them. She's a story teller. Rosa told me that Erica stoled files when she left Empire. An told me that Erica had called one of my clients.

You have to remember me "Melessa" we talked about the welfare line? You want the truth. It's being told here. I maintain good communication with Empire. Nothing is made up like you say. Empire has contacted writers who get paid. The writers of course have no idea what the client pays. When they are interviewed they are asked how much do you charge for Reserch? LOI? Grant Writing? Business Plans? Ect. The issue here between Erica and Rosa is not that Erica didnt get paid. Or Jan didnt get paid. The issue was that Erica is money hungry.

When she found out how much the writer gets paid and how much the client pays (snooping around) (invasion of privacy-criminal offense) she contacted the writers and told them you should get paid more, Empire gets this you get this ect. Some writers were like I don't care this is what I charge. Empire can resell it for what ever they want. But one writer Jan was like yeah I agree an teamed up with Erica. Erica attempted to go to an attorney to get money from Empire the Attorney laughed and told her she didn't have a leg to stand on. This was rold to me by Erica. she tried to get me to say Empire f*cked me over.

That's when she really got upset and contacted you Melessa & Jan. so far from what I hear Erica has called other clients which have written a statement backing up Empire. I guess what I am getting at is this. Is this all worth it to you? Everyone that has complained is because Erica called them and there is 2 people only that listened. Empire does the work. Period. I told you getting a grant is like a needle in Haystack. I talked to you. Then Rosa talked to you. Anyway. All this is Ridiculus if you asked me. But just wanted to tell you all this.

Well so far all I am seeing is that Vanessa Roth called these people to give them the pitch. Just like they gave you the pitch one day. Do you think Vanessa Roth who is an alias name for Erica Roth is just a Good Samaritan? You don't know either of these females. What makes you think Roth is telling the truth? And if you got the work delivered they have done their job. Be an adult. Posting blogs isn't doing anything for anyone. Maybe you should sit back and let the Unuverse handle it. Nothing else can be done. Be happy ! And as for the Attorney General do you think 1-2 people matter. It's Ridiculus. You are waisting your time. Move on! I tell you because it was done to me. My company was reported to the attorney general and FBI and yeah they will look at files but at the end of the day the work was done. Wake up! As for Roth. Shame on her. Rose was very rough around the edges with a heavy hispanic accent. She sounded very uneducated, but she guarnteed me my money back if I did not recieve jobs in the 1st month. It's now been 3 months and they won't return my call. Stay away from these con artists. Especially Rose Zuniga and Erica Roth. They think they can pimp small business owners. And I agree with Erica being responsible! I have had people do this to me before people that worked for me too..so I understand disgruntled employees and the damage they can do. I received a call from a lady named Vanessa Roth she told me that she was calling me back regarding my interest in grant funding for my business. I told her I had no interest but possibly new someone who did. I asked her how did it work and so forth. She told me she first takes an application, submits to research and then someone in research would all me back to let me know if the funders ha said either yes or no. I went along with it. I told her i could give her the information for my sister. She told me that I could give her the information and she would take the application for her and told me she would call me within 24-48 hours with the results. Next day I talked to another young lady he name was Rebecca. She was nice and sounded very knowledgable in the process. I did ask if it was guaranteed she told me that they really have no control over funding they are just the middle man. They do the business plan an can also do grant writing if needed or requested. I told her I used to write grants myself and that I knew there was no guarantee. She said your right.! But if you dont try youll. Ever get one. I gave my sister the results ect. The statement you make about "if its free money there is no fees" is ignorant. There is no fee for any type of monies. That is correct. In this type of industry, even in loans you just don't walk up to the bank and request money do you? Well you can but they will request business plans, documentation..ect. And guess what? You have to go out and buy a well written business plan following bank guidelines.. If you get it and apply they may still say no for various reasons that you have no control over. Same with a grant. Is there grants? Sure! Woman, Minority's and Non-Profits. The writer or company have no control over their response. I wrote grants when I was younger for a Non-Profit and they still got several rejections. To make the long story short. My sister signed up with "Empire" and recently called me to inform me a woman named "Erica" called her to tell her it was a scam..ect. And mentioned a "Rosa" and said she didn't know it was a scam ect. She told me she politely told her "So the company was legitimate when you worked there?..but now that you are no longer there it's a scam?" Does it make sense to you?. The company delivered the business plan, research and grant writing for $3,875.00. I think it's lame for ex-employees to slander the company they worked for because they are no longer there. In any case "Erica" is just as responsible. Like I said we don't believe "Erica" had no idea. Since then we have done research on "Erica Roth" who has worked for several other companies doing the same thing! And claims she's innocent? I found blogs with her name. She worked for "Las Vegas Funding Group" & "Four Seasons Consulting" out of Las Vegas. Personally the paperwork delivered to my sister was done to perfection...so they delivered what we paid for. And I have submitted it for my sister to additional funders and SBA...Doing our own research. Anyway. Just thought I'd share our story.

You both need to get a life you all sound so petty, I dont know who this funding company is but i am a independant grantwriter my charges are $9,000 to $16,000 depending on the organizations that i am working with and i DONT GUARANTEE S***T!!! People hear what they want to hear. Award winning documents come with experience of failing and writing for years, i have been doing this for years, you all are Ignorant and Obviously are BROKE to complain about a business that is trying to make a living doing a very rewarding job! I graduated and i have a BA in Creative writin and english, i even write goverment grants. Anyway i am successful, and i dont provide references. 10 out of 15 of my clients receive funding. I too received a call from Empire. The lady that alled me sai her name was "Vanessa Roth" she offered me a grant for $3,875.00. I told her we did not have money due to us moving offices. I told her I had work with someone in the past regarding the same services. She went on to say "Empire" was one of a kind and that she could take an application and submit it. Then she would know for sure if she could help us. She took the application and pitched me the story.. I got a call back from Rebecca to let me know she had the results for preliminary research. She said I think we can help. Then I asked her point blank if it was guaranteed and she said "No one can guarantee you third party money" then I was pissed for waisting my time. The first girl told me it was a for sure thing? As a business owner I understand there is no such thing as a free lunch. Didn't have the money to move forward regardless. If I had it I probably would of took a chance. But it is typical of these type of companies. Everyone works as a team. Then they want to point fingers..so sad.
