Encore Financial Resources ripoff, STOLE MY MONEY I did everything to get refund and I got no response Saint George Utah

EFR called me and offered me a credit card deal. I accepted the offer because I was not getting approved with other credit cards. I was about to move and really needed the money of a credit card to help me out furing hard times.

I accepted to pay $169.95 and I would receive a credit card with a $5000 balance. I paid with a check over the phone. Not only was I goign to receive the credit card, but I was also going to get a free phone card as well as a gas card valued at $100.

They said I had 30 days to cancel. 10 business days went by and I still had no credit card (they told me I would receive it in 10 business days). I called them and they told me I had to visit their web site and choose which credit card I wanted. I had to apply for credit cards through the encorefinancialresources.com web site. I applied for at least 7. I got letters from all these places saying that they could not approve me. BUT the whole point of me paying $169.95 for this credit card was because I was having trouble getting accepted by credit card companies. I called them and told them that I was not getting approved so I wanted a refund. It had not been 30 days yet.

The woman I talked to was very rude. I told her I wanted a refund and she kept giving me attitude. She said that another department would have to look voer my account and then decide if I was going to get a refund. I asked if she could transfer me to them and she didn't. She said I was not allowed to speak to them. Every time I started to explain somethign she would cut me off, and she eventually hung up on me. Although I was being very cooperative, but was not going to get pushed over because I was following all the requirements for gettign a refund.

I called back again, and another woman told me that I needed to fax 3 denial letters and that i would get my refund. Even though I had no idea that i was suppose to keep these letters, I just so happened to receive 2 letters in teh mail that day as well as there was one in the trash. I took those three denial letters and faxed them to EFR.

I faxed them as well as a letter of what has gone on. I put down all my contact information for my home and work. I got now response. I called after a couple of weeks and they told me it would be 6-8 weeks to receive my refund. 10 weeks went by and I got nothing. I have called two more times and they hang up on me every time I call.

This has been a complete stress case, and has got to be illegal!
