Encore Financial Services ripoff, fraudulent, conartists, dishonest people Richmond Virginia

Encore Financial Services contacted me around mid February. They said they would help me restore my credit by consolidating my outstanding balance on my VISA.

Encore Financial also stated they would draft my account for $169.95 only and only if I had the funds available and if I wasn't satisfied, I would get a full refund.

Encore also said that I would be receiving a package regarding all the information on how to fix my credit. As of today, I have not received anything yet.

Weeks before the draft took effect, I contacted Encore Financial Services, to cancel all services. I told them I was no longer interested in their service and to cancel the transaction. Representative refused to cancel and hung up the phone.

The day the draft was suppose to take place, I called Encore Financial Services to let them know I didn't have any funds available in my account. Encore Financial Services said they couldn't do anything about it.

I contacted my bank and explained the situation. I tried to put a hold on the transaction before it took place. I then realized that several other erroneously transactions had occurred.

There was a $59.95 (PayByWeb) transaction and a $39.95 (ProTel) transaction on my account. I contacted these providers and they confirmed that they had something to do with Encore Financial Services.

Because of all these three transactions, I have a very high negative balance that also include overdrafts. I have tried contacting Encore to try to get my money back, but no luck. I am afraid this is not the end of it.

This company has all my information based on my bank card number.

What can I do? How can I stop this company from harming other innocent people?
