Problem with most scams, as with most liars, is that they often build a false conclusion on real facts - making it very hard to separate the two. I read the ad, called and got replies like - "no clients yet, but almost..." I also got a response from a "company rep" and then found out he had already left the Co when it failed to perform for him...
MOST biz opp's do NOT require applicants to pay to play. Front-end costs are the responsibility of the Company - that's why they keep 95% instead of 50/50 with their reps. There are indeed bona fide LED change-over programs out there - but even after investigation - I've not seen any evidence at all that this one is real and can perform. Did you notice if you attended the webinar that I say how quickly the slides went by! Impossible to digest - however, clearly there WAS a show to be seen. Why couldn't we review at our own pace to have time to fully understand instead of getting a rush to our wallets first?
Think about this - when I called in early Dec, there were supposedly 321 reps already signed on nationally. That would be 321 x $470 = $150,870 up front and an annual revenue of $37,130/month ($445,560/year) and growing daily. What if it was a scam - not a bad revenue model by itself! And which of us would actually sue (in a Florida court, of course) for our small claims loss??
But, hey, could be the deal of a lifetime!

Further suspicious elements to Energy Saving Solutions and Peter Stein
AUTHOR: Jonathan - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, May 29, 2012
After reading some of the posts about Peter Stein and Energy Saving Solutions - in particular, the one about those "client" not really being clients - I started searching around the web for those stories and found something even more disturbing. I asked Peter about this directly and he admitted that these were not customers, but examples of what's happening in the industry.
What I found was that there are actually 4 other sites (5 total) - all different URL's that essentially use all the same branding/information (but those other sites don't have any information about "who" is involved in the companies........).
* http://www.energysavingindustry.com/ - the main one with Peter Stein (note the the company name "Energy Saving Solutions" doesn't line up with the URL).
* http://www.energysmartindustry.com/ - call them and they will answer "Energy Saving Solutions"
* http://www.ledretrosavings.com/Home_Page.html
* http://www.energyretrofitting.com/
* http://www.retrofittexas.com/index.html
I actually asked Peter about all of these, and he said he knew nothing about them.
An equally suspicious fact is that Peter answered his cell phone all of the times I called to talk with him (4 times). Which started to seem weird, especially if the company was this successful (with 370 some reps). I've worked in sales organizations before with only 20 reps and it gets extremely busy dealing with all the transactions. But somehow, although he claims to be involved in every one, he has all this time on his hands.
