On Jaunary 09, 2018, I rented a car from ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL at the Palm Springs International Airport for two days. After I provided my credit card information to the customer service rep, she told me that the cost of the transaction would be ONLY $67.63. However, the next day I checked my credit card account and discoverved HIDDEN charges of $200.00 HOLDING FEE plus a 20% charge of the total cost of the rental.
I now had new credit card hold fee of $321.68.
Later that same day, I returned to ENTERPRISE and briefly spoke with a manager who stated the charges are normal and part of the rental. BUT this manager failed to show these HIDDENN charges on the car rental agreement. But not wanting to get in a long drawn out debate, I took this guy's word for it and drop the discussion.
On January 10, 2018, I dropped-off and returned the vehicle on-time and received a receipt for $67.83. About 6 hours later, I checked my credit card account and was SHOCKED!!!
This ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL manager and his employees RETALIATED against me displaying a very UN-AMERICAN attitude, because a simple $67.83 car rental turned into a WHOPPING $575.53 charge to my credit card.
Immediately, I contacted my credit card company to report a case of intentional FRAUD and to block my credit card account against the Enterprise Car Rental.
