After being involved in an accident I rented a vehicle while mine received repairs. For a 2 week rental the forecasted fee was 1265.58 w/ insurance coverage. My vehicle was repaired sooner than expected. I had military training to attend so I called to ask if I could drop it off there. The Enterprise satellite office assured me that was fine and they would process the charge and I should be credited. I did not get the name because I expected this would be routine.
I dropped the car off on the 8th of April 2015, 7 days earlier than agreed and I expected to be credited a pro rated daily amount down from the 1265.58. To my surprise they billed an additional 900.00

After many frustrating phone conversations and at least 2 billable hours of time wasted I filed a complaint through ripoff.com. I do not know if they contacted me due to this complaint here or my general grievance through the Company. In summary I was contacted by Kevin from the Airport ERAC and I feel I have been made whole! They pro rated the rental and even waived the fuel fee which I felt I also owed and they credited my card back over 1000 dollars. Thank you Ripoff.com and Enterprise for doing the right thing. Beware the wording whenever you swipe your card as a security and companies should not be allowed to actually process more than agreed unless it can be justified and acknowledged in advance! Enterprise is still a solid choice, but now I will hesitate before renting. Thank you again for providing a forum to aire this grievance, I think it helped.
