Environmental Products International Inc EPI, INC - George Reynolds delivered unorder product, threatened to turn over to collection agency - product never ordered, never received Fairview New Jersey

last year approx 09/2014 my 87 yr old father rec'd a phone call from EPI and was sold liquid septic cleaner.

He purchased 5 yrs worth of product.  I paid for his purchase and cancelled all future contact / orders.

10/03/15 he rec'd a bill for $159.98, due 11/12/15 - for Activator Liquid Qnty 1

He did not order this product and he did not receive this product.

On 10/19 he received notification that he was being sent to collections if he did not pay this bill in (10) working days.

I called 10/19 and spoke to Dawn, I explained that he did not order this product and that the product had not been delivered.  She told me she would track down the order and that it was ordered on 9/3/15 and shipped FedEx.  I again explained that he did not order this product and did not want this product.  She had nothing more to say, just that she would trace the order.

After reviewing his statement again this morning, I called George Reynolds, Customer Relations (the person who sent the collection notice) and inquired why he was turning this over to collections when his statement request payments by 11/12/15.

He became very defensive and threatened to turn this over to legal counsel if the bill was not promptly paid and hung up on me.

These are the facts, I will leave my personal opinion off, but it sure looks like they prey on the elderly.
