Janice and Todd Forsgren are â€‹THIEVES ​who​ STOLE​ my rare book collection valued at over $250,000! They use their business “Envision Construction, LLC” to gain access to your home to STEAL!

As a former employee I got to know Janice and Todd fairly well. I had know idea just how criminal they really are until reading other negative reviews and experiencing what they did to me. Todd would always brag about “The perks of the job by getting a five finger discount”. I never payed much attention to exactly what he was referring to until he set me up and had Janice steal my entire book collection.

I was on call with them to do electrical work whenever they got a bid which wasn’t much. They never had enough business to hire anyone part time or full time and 90% of their workers don’t speak any English which would alway create a communication problem with customers. Todd would pick them up at Home Depot usually. This would be fine, but the problem was most of the time they did not have the right tools for the job and would do the job incorrectly due to the language barrier. I speak some Spanish, but could not be there all the time.

Todd would just send them to a job. That was another problem working with Todd. I was also the interpreter as well. Todd hated any kind of work, all he wanted to do is party and watch TV.  He just doesn't take anything serious.  If you have a question about anything, he acts childish and too tired to talk.  You can hear the TV blasting in the background at his home.  There were many times he never picked up the phone, so I had to drive to his house only to find him passed out drunk in the middle of the afternoon.  I'm SHOCKED how they stay in business.

Usually on weekends we would get together at each others home for cocktails etc.. Janice and Todd love to drink, pop pills, and smoke weed. I believe they both have a drug/alcohol problem which is why they stole to support their habit. Todd constantly asked to borrow money from me. I gave him $200.00 one time and he never paid me back. They always had Oxycontin 40 and 80mg pain killers and loved taking them when drinking. I even tried many times to talk to Todd about getting help, but he would only become hostile.

Now for the stealing. The ​ONLY​ time Todd did not get drunk was the night Janice ​stole​ my books from my master bedroom. Todd kept distracting me constantly to go outside and talk so he could smoke more weed than usual. Something seemed strange. When we went back in I saw Janice leaving out my private bath connected to my master bedroom with a large duffle bag. I did not think much of it because she typically acted a little strange whenever she was intoxicated or high. Soon after we came in, they were ready to leave. I immediately noticed my WHOLE BOOK COLLECTION ​was wiped out!

This collection was handed down to me from my great grandfather who was an avid book collector. The only people who knew I had it was my family who live out of town and Janice and Todd whom I mistakenly confided in. At first I thought they pulled a joke on me but was still very nervous because I had over 50 books, and some were signed first printings of renowned authors. These type of book have to be handled gently. I​ know​ it was there before they came, and it was gone when they left. I look at this collection everyday because my bookshelf sits right beside my bed. So I call Janice and Todd on their cell phones and they did not answer.

I then drove to their homes and met Janice at the door. I asked Janice where my book collection is and she starts screaming at me like a lunatic. This is the way she behaves when she’s drunk or if you don’t agree with her. She then tells me: “How dare you speak to me in this manner, start looking for another job loser” and slams the door on me. She was talking to me with a British accent as if she is a queen or something. Had to be the drugs talking, give me a break! This did not matter much to me anyway, because again, I was on call to do electrical work and didn’t get hardly any work to begin with because they did very little business. 

What is really so sickening about them is that Janice works at a Christian school named “Christ Church School” in Fort Lauderdale. She always would refer to the parents and children as “Rich Uppity Jerks”​ every time she had a few drinks in her. ​ She brags about how her kids go to school for free because her father Keith gives money to the Senior Pastor Brett Opalinski.​ She told me when she was drinking that her family is “Tight” with him and they get drunk together as well. She said all Brett cares about is money for the school any way possible. I do know they remodeled his kitchen because I did the electrical and I’m sure he got it done free. Looks like he tolerates them because he gets money from Keith and free work. They probably stole from him too.

She would constantly act like a big shot and say: “It’s all who you know, you know” trying to be funny but looking so pathetic especially when she’s stoned and/or drunk. Please know Janice and Todd that you're stealing spree ​WILL​ come to an end. I have filed a police report, and I WILL​ get my books back. This is the most ruthless, deceptive couple I have ever met. Don’t just walk away from Envision Construction, RUN from them! ​You’ve been warned.
