EPS Parking Services Empire Parking Services Short term emergency Atlanta Georgia

My wife, who has had cancer recently, needed a restroom immediately. We pulled into a parking lot. She asked to accompany her because we are not from the area and she felt the need of safety. When we returned to our van, in ten minutes or les, she noticed a boot had been attached to our van. The EPS Parking Services technician was in the lot and told us there would be a $75 fee to remove the boot. The only sign stating that there was a boot removal stated $10 minimum fee for failing to display parking ticket. There was not a sign on the driver's side window as required by Atlanta ordinance on booting. The EPS technician did not sign the boot removal ticket and did not issue a standard visa receipt. Safe to say we do not feel wanted in Atlanta, GA I wonder what these ridiculous fees are doing for tourism in the area.
