I purchased a Nikon Coolpix 5600 from Ritz camera online. I was happy with the purchase and found out soon after that if I purchased an Epson Printer I would be entitled to a $50 rebate. This seemed nice so I ordered an Epson R-200 from Buy.com for aprox. $80.
I filled out the rebate form and mailed the receipts in with the UPC's and did so while the rebate was in effect. The purchases were made three days apart.
6 weeks after mailing in the rebate I receive an envelope from Epson. They stated that because I had not purchased both items from the same place and the items were not on the same receipt I was not entitled to the rebate. This is B.S.!!!!
I will never buy another Epson product as long as I live nor will I recommend their product to anyone. They have lost me forever and given me a bad taste for any items involving rebates. Keep it up Epson word will get around.

Indeed....I have the same rebate and it clearly says in the first number in the section "Here's How It Works" that the printer and camera must be on the same receipt.
Especially in this game you have to play by the rules or you lose big time.

How were you advised tha there was arebate? Did you read the requirements of the rebate before purchasing the printer?
You're leaving some inforamtion out here.. I mean, with the info you have providied, It sounds to me like you didn't read any inforamtion and for that reason, this is not a rip off, just a bitter customer.
