Equifax Scam Company Stonewall Phones Toronto Ontario

This company, one of only two authorized credit reporting agencies in Canada is designed and operated as scam. Legally required to send you a free report, they have several "services" which they attempt to hawk off, including the instant online version of what they would normally be mandated to give to you for free. Instead, they give you no report, bill your card, and say "call this number" which is listed in the most deep and inaccessible part of their webpage. Should you make it that far into the chasms of questionable web design, the 'phone number' leads to a phone prompt from hell, wherein you are given no options, and wait times exceed one hour. At which point, the suggestion is "oh, we see no payment, it'll probably be in your bank, (it won't be) you need to go on and redo the process and pay an additional $16"

Way to dispute: Call bank, report obvious fraud; find way to amend eqifax's credit history with these horror stories, and look to finding ways to have them lose their operation license.
