This gym has a policy of issuing "strikes" to members who do not check in on time. After three strikes, they refuse to let you take classes. I have a disability which sometimes prevents me from making it to the gym at the last minute. Intead of understanding that I have a disability and making an exception, they have stricken me from taking classes and refused to remove the strikes until I got someone at another location to do so.
I would like a refund of at least $250 (one month's membership fee) at the very least. Claims have already been filed with the ADA, BBB, and other organizations. Do yourself a favor and save your money: stay away from this gym! I have been a member for 17 years and never imagined I would be treated this way. Needless to say, I am changing gyms as soon as possible.
