Equinox & RVTL Sheridan Labs Free Offer Rip-Off hides terms & conditions Palmdale, California

I took advantage of this online offer for free trial (just pay the shipping) on Equinox and RVTL skin care products. I did not seek out this offer and should have know better. They do a very good job of hiding the fact that you are actually signing up for monthly shipments of these products if you don't cancel within 14 days of the order date.

There is NO way I would every agree to such a thing so I swear I was not inn agreement to it. Not only that, I didn't receive the products for at least a week after the order date. They are shipped from two different locations. The second product received (RVTL) arrived while I was out of town.  Another reason that if I had know the agreement was to cancel within 14 days, there was NO way I could have since I hadn't physically received the product yet.  So I find charges on my credit card for the shipping charges on 10/14/13 which I had agreed to.

Then on 10/29/13 charges for 93.00 to Skin Repair and 99.00 to Aquaskin Cleanser. Both of these charges originated in Great Britain and there were foreigh transaction fees levied totalling $1.99.

I was totally unaware of the charges and also two more shipments that had been released on 11/12/13 with more charges of $99.00 and $93.00.  Upon reviewing my bank statement I called Equinox/RVTL on 11/18/13 and was told that I must have agreed to their terms and contract.  AGAIN, if I had read any such thing I would NEVER have agreed to it.  I cannot afford such a thing at all.   This is a SCAM and I have read so many other scam and rip-off reports of individuals just like me who have been suckered into this.  I was issued RMA numbers to returne the second shipments which I had not yet received. I returned those and was credited less a 20% restocking fee.

I do not like the products. When I finally tried the "sample" they made my skin break out. I told the company this and they will not allow me to return the initial shipment for any credit.  I am disputing the chages on my credit card and filing reports to VISA and the BBB.
