Upon filling out apps for a personal loan the company Equitrust had contacted me informing me I was approved for the amount of $8000, alright awesome. That's what I thought, I was then asked to put up collateral in the amount of $1400, and I did so. The following day I was contacted again, saying that I needed to put up another $1400 and I said no, and asked for them to just refund my initial deposit. I was told they would do so, but it would take upwards to a month for this to happen. That would be February 19, 2008. Now on the 19th, I never got my refund, and upon further investigation, I see that there are all of a sudden a large amounts of complaints all saying the same thing. When I checked on the validity of the company, upon first being contacted everything seemed to be legitmate. But needless to say that I now see that they had themselves a pretty good scheme going on. If anyone knows anything else, or has any information to be able to do something about this, it would be nice to have it posted. Thank you.

same people and same set up.....I have informed the BBB in Atlanta not sure where they are this time though...hopefully these people will be caught and we can get our money back....
