Hello I purchaced what was supposed to be a rebuilt 4t65e transmission from Eric Glidewell from St Joesph Mo.

8163512376 or 8162627470.  I saw his add on ebay offering a 4L60E transmission, so i sent him a e-mail about the model i needed..with a 1 yr warranty

He said he has a trans rebuilding shop. and he can do the trans i needed. so we agreed to a price and it was delevered.I was not here at the time. But when i got home I was shooked that he called this a rebuilt Transmission it was dirty and then painted over with siler paint..

The paint was coming off in my hands not even dry also It looked like it was just pulled from a Junk yard... The seals on the out side of the transmission were the original seals.. the output shafts were full of dirt.. the fluid inside was blkish red ( not a good color) ..

There was silicone smeared all over and painted over.. When I text Eric Glidewell about this issue he assured me it was fully rebuilt ( i have his txt sayin so) new clutches seals and gears.. so i installed this transmission with a new flud,new  torque convertor,new front pump seal and two out put shaft seals and flushed all the cooler lines.. after install this unit did not shift to third, and had a 1-2 flare..Eric acted suprised it didnt work.. but he said he would refund my money,my labor,plus fluids,torque convertor and the new seals i installed in this transmission..

I am a ASE certified Tech, with over 20yrs and I own my own shop and  have rebuilt several transmissions myslf, I know how clean they have to be and atention to detail is very important but I have never re-bult the unit here in this story tho, so i opted to order one ready to go..  any way I am out 600 for a junk transmissin,seals,fluid,torque convertor and labor.. plus i had to purchace another rebuilt unit. and the customer had to wait another week for thier car..

In the meantime Eric Glidewell phone number 8163512376 assured me in his text that his warraty comany will pay me for my loss.. this was on approx nov 25th 2013.. I have still not received any refund as he promised..I have also asked Eric Glidewell what is the name of his shop and never got a reply, pluss he took two other transmissions from me to be rebuilt.. after this incedent i told him not to do them and bring them back.. he sad he would deleverd them back.. they are valued at 300 each.. BUYER BEWARE transmission scam.. Eric Glidewell is a scammer
