Eric Holland RLD Phones, RLD Factory Phones uses ebay sellers accts to sell garbage cell phones Bowling Green, Kentucky

I was contacted by Eric Holland from RLD Factory phones to sell their "like new condition and refurbished unlocked" cell phones on ebay.

He is the ultimate salesman, made it sound fairly easy, admitted bad feedback from buyers will happen, they just needed a "customer service rep" to handle ebay buyers questions on a daily basis. Pay would be $500 per month and if I put in a 2 week notice, the remaining month it takes to finish up your last sales would be $350.

Within 2 weeks, I started seeing a pattern of late shipping, garbage, damaged and non-working phones, many other ebay sellers were selling these phones as well.

RLD's policies to buyers was a 3 day warranty (no refunds, exchanges only) and the buyer was responsible for cost of shipping to send a bad phone back for replacement.

I was contacted by a few ex-sellers on ebay and warned against working for Eric and RLD. Within 2 and a half weeks, ebay suspended my account due to negative feedback.

I sold approx 500 phones, out of the 500 over 200 were bad phones that the buyers had to pay to ship back and a lot of the replacements sent out were also bad.

In the end I owe over $2300 in ebay fees and refunds, I have been reimbursed a total of $1200 by Eric (RLD) and now he has shut down.  NEVER sell for Eric Holland or do ANY business with him. He tried to work the ebay sellers against each other, but we all traded stories and each were being told the same stories about other sellers.

BEWARE of who you sell for!  NEVER sell for a 3rd party when you don't have the product physically in your possession.
