I initially purchased a signed index card from the seller JASON KLEM ebay id: jasonvanem4444 on ebay in late 2008. After receiving the item I put it in a box, waiting to be sent in for authentication.
Soon after, I began to receive emails from other buyers/victims stating that they had been ripped off by the seller. The individual, who I hope will follow up here and better explain, made a strong argument as to how this seller who has identified himself to me as Jason Klemm of Philadelphia, PA, was selling forgeries and knew it.
I quickly had the item authenticated through ACE Authentic and Global Authentication (GAI), both of which stated that the autograph was Not Genuine.
I contacted the seller, JASON KLEM, at a number I located on the Internet, not the one that was supplied through eBay, which was out of service. Additionally, he had not responded to any emails sent through eBay and direct emails were bouncing.
When I spoke with him he seemed surprised and sincerely helpful. We agreed that I would send the item back for a full refund since I was outside of the PayPal time to complain window. At this point I have now paid for A) the item B) the authentication fees and C) the return cost of postage.
So, the item arrives and I courteously await the promised refund.
Crickets.
So, I start calling the phone number daily leaving polite voice mails. Nothing. I keep calling until the phone line goes bad. This is his second bad number. And he's not responding to messages sent through eBay. Of course, his email is still bouncing.
So, I go to the Internet to find another number for Eric Klem and call it. The person at the other end has never heard of Eric Klem though I found it interesting that he answered the phone in a normal voice and then quickly had a heavy asian accent.
Sigh....
So, apparently I get ripped off by this fella from Philly and life will go on. But now the world will know what he's up to and hopefully a Google search or two will warn others of this guy's dubious tactics.

Please note that there was an error in the previous submission. The seller's name is JASON KLEM, not ERIC. Apologies to Eric.
