Please be careful of Eric Maimon, an Israeli who purports to be a wealthy investor but is actually seeking projects to hijack and set up real estate scams.

He will approach you with documentation purporting to be worth millions in the name of Ruchama Ifergan LLC, a company he holds in Florida, but in fact the bank statements he provides are those that he obtained from an actal person called Ruchama Ifergan and he changed the name of his corporation to match the statements a few days after he obtained them. He does not have any money, in fact he bouces cheques regularly and then each time blames it on the bank, Wells Fargo.

He purports to have access to almost unlimited funding from Monaco but will never provide proof and never pay a bill. If you question him he makes a lot of noise and big threats but they are all just the actions of a crook, as he usually borrows or steals money to get to where he needs to be or to leave an impression.

He is currently trying to sell fractional real estate in the Bahamas to a project that he does not own, and has created a string of unrelated yet partially believable documents, such as Ruchama Ifergan, in an attempt to convince people that he is legitimate. He offers vendor finance, a guaranteed return and all the things that make it a deal that appears too good to be true.

He misrepresents himself constantly, which is his main tool to get what he wants, purporting to be representing large charities and even American Express, all of whom verify they have no connection to him. He also purports to be one of the founders of one of the largest property development companies in Israel, however they have never heard of him.

Do not give this guy any money for real estate in the Bahamas as it is very likely you will never see it again! He will create many fraudulent and misleading documents to try and convince you of his sincerity – dont believe them and dont be afraid to do solid research on them, even though he will threaten to cut you off if you do.

Sources say that USA immigration will no longer let him into the country and that he is no longer welcome in the Bahamas either, but he continues to have corporations set up in Florida under his name and another person, who is believed to be assisting him with corporate matters and setting up bank accounts.
