With great interest I have perused the complaints, comments, laments, etc., of folks who are or have been members of eroticy.com. As a former member I was initially intrigued with the possibility of locating and possibly meeting women to share common interests.

Being in my fifties I contacted women members in the forty to fiftyish age range through the eroticy email system. It was with some surprise I received no responses to approximately fifteen emails I generated.

After two months I cancelled my membership, with no problems I might add. Within two weeks of my cancelling the membership I was contacted via my regular email address by no less than twenty-two very attractive ladies in the twenty-four to thirty-three year age range.

Of course, not being a current member of eroticy I was unable to read their messages. My curiosity was piqued and I renewed my membership to determine what these messages might be.

Upon renewaing and reading the messages I found them to be inviting contact. So, being a male who enjoys having an ego boost now and then I answered most of the emails. The responses received were quite slow in coming, answered none of the questions I had posed and appeared to be quite generic in nature as if they had been cut and pasted so the message could be sent to numerous recipients without specificity.

After two more months I decided to cancel the membership once again but prior to taking this action I contacted a number of the women who responded and advised them I was ending my membership.

In addition I added my regular email address if they wished to continue to correspond. It has been four months since I have been a member and have yet to receive a regular email from any of the women.

Also, to date, I have received twenty-nine additional "come-on" emails in my regular email. It would appear eroticy.com, upon receiving requests for cancellation, seeks to entice the former members to rejoin by sending provocative messages from young, attractive women.

It was my good fortune to have only been a member on a month-to-month basis rather than purchasing up to a year membership.

Perhaps the old adages "caveat emptor" (let the buyer beware) and "if it seems to good to be true, then it probably isn't" are to be taken seriously. I shall end this with another adage that applies to me. "Too soon old, too late smart.
