Above named company refused to help complainant's wife and other female friend load a car that was already paid for. Vehicle was paid for and ready for pick up, women needed help loading vehicle on to a travel dolly. Owner and other managers refused to help loading the vehicle with out women paying extra money. Vehicle was in a position easily available and easy to move an area of less than a couple of feet. Owner/managers denied them help loading the vehicle after the women had driven 5 hours to pick the vehicle up and paid all storage and tow fees.
Owner stated to husband, who is U.S. Marine and was unavailable to pick up vehicle due to his duty's, when called that he should have sent someone else up to help and that it wasn't his problem and would not help the women unless they paid him extra after all tow and storage fee's had been paid.
Owner was extremely rude and unhelpful and didn't care for customers at all offered no help and was extremely difficult to work with. This company was a complete rip off and was extremely rude, and disrespectful and completely unwilling to help showed that ownership is poor and has a complete lack of care for anyone but himself it was absolutely apalling to work with this company with the way the customer was treated. Company is completely ridiculous and not worth using.

Not Refused For Liability

The thing is there was already a release of liability and when the owner went to pick it up and showed up with 3 Marines the company was more than willing to help push it on to the dolly and help hook it up with out any extra pay how does that work? Wont help a woman that shows up and needs help but more than willing to come out and help and not cause any trouble when 4 Marines show up come on now that throws the whole worried about liability thing out the window besides it wasn't pushed but about 4 feet to get it on to the dolly didn't take hardly any effort at all? Thats whats wrong with the world today no one is willing to give any one a hand all you care about is yourself

Liability Issues

OK, here's the scenario: As he is loading the vehicle on the dolly, some damage occurs to the vehicle. Now you would have been filing claims against him for the damage.
Looks like a no win situation for him. You complain because he doesn't help, then if anything happened to the vehicle, you would complain about that also.

I would not have helped her either. Liability transfers to the poor guy "helping" and gets banged by a lawsuit if something happens. You paid for the services rendered. That does not include anything after that. You have the right to charge for any additional labor if you assume liability.
