I received my bank statement for September, and noticed that my AT&T bill was more than double what it usually is. I called AT&T to question the amound they had deducted from my checking account.

They said that the $25.90 charge for September came from a company called ESBI. I asked the person why this company was charging to my AT&T bill? She said that AT&T had to let small companies bill to AT&T for phone services. I told her I did NOT order any service from ESBI.

She gave me ESBI's number to call and have them cancel and credit the $25.90 to my AT&T bill. The number is 1-888-301-3724. I called them and told them to cancel and credit my AT&T phone bill for $25.90. She said that it may take ONE or TWO billing cycles to credit my account.

What a rip off!!! They get to use MY MONEY for one or two months when I did NOT order any service from them. I hope there is a lawyer or government official out there that will sue or shut them down.

We were scammed by AT&T and Rocket Communication Services in July and August 2008. We never authorized Rocket to charge anything to our AT&T local land line bill; never even heard of them. We were charged $12.95 for the months of July and August for EFAX & VMAIL. I called Rocket (Enhanced Billing Service 1-888-288-3724) in August to cancel their service and get a credit for their charges. They stated my credits will be issued within 30 days. No credits to date. I tried calling AT&T on 10-6-08 and was put on hold for 1:29 before hanging up. I then called on 10-10-08 and was on hold for 5 hours before hanging up. I then emailed them and received a reply that they will not take the $25.90 off my bill and shows no credit from Rocket. Rocket said on 10-13-08 the credit was issued to my ATT bill on 8-22-08, then today, 10-14-08, they said there was an error in billing and the credit was issued on 9-22-08. I'd bet the world that my bill on 10-22-08 will not see that refund. Funny these supposed credits are supposedly issued on my billing date, then when they don't show up, they say it will be on my next bill, all the while they hope that I'll forget about it when it doesn't show up on my bill the next month. . I'm switching my land line and internet way from ATT to Comcast over this. Fed up with ATT and their "can't help you" stance. Rocket and AT&T hasn't heard the last from me.
