Being one of many consumers I applied and was approved for an Espree Credit Card for direct deposit of my payroll. Soon afterwards, I had an episode where I had an identify theft on my account where a payment was sent to a copy cat internet ACH account that was similar to an business I was payment through my online checking account. This happened in February 2009. After complaints to the Atlanta BBB and numerous lies from the Espree and Firstview Companies, I thought after speaking with a manager that I had resolved this issue and it was concluded and I would be getting my money back. They sent me a debit card along with a detailed letter stating it was loaded with the amount of the money that I had lost on my previous account plus overdraft charges that were reversed since after finding out my account had been compromised I cancelled the cards and the account but still disputed the charge that the business I supposedly paid never got the payment and I even gave the customer service number to Espree and First View only to have lies come back to me. The card they sent me today was not only un-useable it had a zero balance after I called customer service to have it activated and was told it will take a few days to transfer those funds however the letter I received in writing stated the card was already loaded with the funds for my immediate use all I had to do was contact the 800 number activate the card. The customer rep said he would call once the card was available to be used as of this moment no call no nothing. This company rips you off and takes longer than the legal time frame to resolve issues I would stay away from any dealings with Espree or First View in Smyrna, Georgia or Atlanta or the likes unless you like losing money or doing without funds for long long periods of time. They are one of the biggest liars and scammers that works legally in these United States but no more for me. I resolved my complaint and to keep my sanity am making this a learning and sharing experience for you all. BEWARE ESPREE CARDS CHECKING OR CREDIT CARDS BAD NEWS!
