Estenson Logistics Watch out for fake offers!! Chandler Arizona

I was offered a management recruiting position with this company the week of July 21st. I accepted a verbal offer and was told by the HR Director that an official offer letter was to follow the next week.

The next week came and I was laid off from my employer. I called the HR Director to let them know of my current position and ask when the offer letter was to come. She let me know the offer letter was complete and all they needed was a signature from the owner to get me started.

For the WHOLE month of August the HR director and I were in contact. She kept assuring me the position was open and all we were waiting for was a final go ahead from the owner.

Finally I called the VP of Safety (my would be manager) on August 27th to find out if I was going to start September 1st. The VP of Safety called be back and said, and I quote, "I am surprised to hear from you, we decided to not move forward with this position TWO WEEKS AGO". I let him know that for last two week I have been assured by the HR Director that you were going to be hiring me...And for that time I have NOT been looking or interviewing for any other positions! I let him know that I needed an explanation from the HR Director.

I got a call from the HR Director, she left a message, again I quote, "I didn't know this was the only position you had in mind, I wouldn't hold out for it, it seems that the VP of safety can't make up his mind in a director he wants to go".

I sent an email to the VP of Safety explaining what she had said and our conversations over the last month. This is what I got back (actual email from him). "I am sorry that you and **** miss-communicated. Obviously you had presumed something that we were not prepared to do".

Please!! if you are thinking of working with this company keep in mind of who and what kind of people you are going to be working with! Communication is VERY important to any companies success. If they are unable to communicate or take responsibility in the easy thing what wold happen if something serious came up.
