Went to Esurance.com website.  Got a quote on auto insurance for my daughters vehicle.  She has it financed and wanted enough coverage to satisfy lienholders requirement.   Liability, comprehensive and collision.


Provided all info including DL number and SSN number.   Quote came back in neighborhood of $520 for 6 months. Payments of $92.00 a month. Website wanted you to purchase policy online, provide credit card info and authorize the down payment and a start date for policy. 


I stopped.  The next day called Esurance and talked to person, asked for quote.   It had gone from $520.00 to $886.00.  Nothing changed except the price.  If I had bought the policy online it would have went up.  We would  have to pay the additional $365.00 added on to the remaining premium balance.  Payments close to $200.00 a month.


RIPOFF.  Anyone else out there tried this company?
