eTEC, ETEC Appraisal Management Solutions *Lack of Honesty, Professional / Ethical Behavior* Phoenix, Arizona

On August 17th 2010, our appraiser received an order to inspect a property in Schuylkill County PA from eTEC.  The appraiser immediately set it up with a realtor contact for entry to property and then inspected the property post haste on August 18th (realtor also present).  On August 19th, our appraiser was told to put the order on hold.  On August 21st the order was cancelled and the appraiser contacted Gena at eTEC who then promised him a $100 trip fee.

We have invoiced eTEC for months and months and have numerous phone calls and emails and sent regular mail statements.  We have been bounced back and forth between "Gena" and "Taylor or Tyler" several times and still no trip fee has been received.

Most recently, we received an email from Gena advising that she needed pictures of the inspection, as proof we were there !!  This request came from Gena on 2/25/2011.... how many months after the inspection is that?!  That was followed up by us with an immediate pdf attachment of the inspection photos.  We never received acknowledgment and further after proof, we did not receive our $100 trip fee.  More phone calls with runarounds and voice messages and again no response.

We have emailed all available known emails for eTEC in hopes that someone in charge might be able to get the above named parties together and straighten out the situation.  Our appraiser is entitled to payment for his time and gas and research done prior to seeing the property as well as after seeing the property.  Today we sent an email once again prompting for an immediate reply or advising that we would proceed to file a Ripoff Report.  We have had no response...further deepening our disappointment and frustration level.

We are very disappointed with the lack of professionalism exhibited by these individuals who are the representatives for eTEC.  Appraisers are notoriously underpaid for their time and their research and keyboard staff and yet bear the brunt of responsibility for appraisal work and the costs involved therein, ie E&O insurance, MLS subscriptions, CH fees, Recorder of Deed fees, gas costs, fees involved in original comparable photos requiring multiple trips to subject and the subject neighborhood...how fair is "no" compensation...free labor...hmm...what country is this?
