Lets get one thing straight these people here are nothing more than a legal scam! First I will start by saying if you create a listing to sell an item and someone purchases that item. You have no choice but to work for that person! If you decide you do not want to take an order and cancel it, the buyer has the right to leave a damaging review... JUST BECAUSE YOU DECLINED THE JOB! Now we cares about reviews? Only every single person buying! So the buyer can ruin your reputation even if you never worked for them. Now who will buy from a seller that has reviews like: Rude and will never do business with again... ONLY BECAUSE I DECLINDED THE JOB?

Second issue... they scam you by creating some "pay per click" program they have... Well they know who are the losers whom just click all day on people's Ads just to take up time at work... So what Etsy does it they place your Ad's in front of people who will click your money away, and never buy! I have recieved 100 visits to my store from pay per click and no sells... The worst part about this system, is it steals sells you made and claims them to seem more relevent! I had a conversation with a customer about a custom order, we discuss the deal and all... And 1 week after the order was processed it shows as an order that came in through "pay per click" program and it clearly did not! So they steal sells from your basic SEO work and give it to their "pay per click" to make it seem like all the money you are spending is worth it!

3rd issue... These scumbags bad end system is horrible and screwed up my taxes and tax forms for the IRS... They claim that I had over 21K in sells last year, the App says I made $16 and the OFFICIAL 1099 TAX FORM THEY SENT SAID I HAD $18 IN SELLS... Which one is it? Why are numbers that means so much so off? Now they claim they made a mistake and will resend forms out... But the info on my back end is gone so I can not see it anymore.

DONT NOT TRUST THESE SCUMBAGS, THEY WILL SEEM TO HELP AND STEAL AND ROB YOU WHEN YOU ARE NOT LOOKING!

Oh and the last thing, these f**kers suspended me for saying I was going to share my experience from Etsy with the world...

===============

Hello Jose,
My name is Keith, a specialist on Etsy's Dispute Resolution Team. Toeni passed your email along to me for further investigation. I took a look and see that this issue has escalated and I wanted to give you some suggestions on how to move forward and also address your concerns about the review you recieved. I understand that this all began with a misunderstanding and I truly wish the matter had not escalated so quickly. I took a look at the review left for order #00000000 and can confirm that we can not legally remove the review as it does not violate any policies we have in place.

Please know that the review system is intended to be used for buyers to leave feedback regarding not only the product, but the customer service they received throughout the transaction.

I want you to know that we have the utmost respect for all of our sellers and wish them ultimate success on our platform. However, Etsy is only permitted to remove a review if it’s in direct violation of our policies, and therefore we must remain unbiased in these situations. Our policy states “Etsy does not investigate the validity of opinions or statements made in reviews.” The reason behind this is that the Federal Trade Commission considers a review an endorsement, and their Truth in Advertising regulations prevent us as a platform from interfering with or distorting consumer opinion. The integrity of our Review system must adhere to these regulations. Additionally, Etsy’s review policies are in line with that of other third party venues. We’re all required to abide by certain laws and regulations which our review systems are in line with.

That being said, I also see you have requested that this member no longer contact you, however you have responded to them after making this request.

Please understand we will be unable to enforce Etsy’s Conversations policy if you continue to reply to Tasha's messages after asking them to stop contacting you. We've found this is the best way to minimize unwelcomed conversations on our site, and we appreciate you following these guidelines.

I truly hope you can let this go, move past this experience and continue to focus on your current orders and providing excellent customer service to your current buyers.

Even with this one negative review you still have a 5 star rating and I'm inclined to say that the large majority of shoppers understand that not everyone can be pleased and as such, are likely not deterred from seeing a shop with slightly less than 5 stars.

I hope this information has been helpful to you. Please let me know if you have any additional questions about this.

Best,

Keith

Dear Etsy, In other words... I have to work for her and have no right as a human being to decline the sale or work without receiving a "bad review"? I mean really? How do I not have the right to work for whom I want to? YOU MUST IMPLEMENT A BLOCK ACTION! You claim to be neutral, but all the actions you took was against me! From threatening me, to allowing this person to harass me and destroy my business. I was told that if I ask a person not to contact me and not to order and then they left a bad review, it would not count! So why is this not happening?   Can you answer at least one question for me? If I told her not to order from me again.... And 3 days later she orders again knowing I would not fill the order... Can you tell me why should would order if it wasn't to leave me a bad review? I told her I would not fill it, I told her not to order and 3 days later she did! I do not have the power to block her, because of your system not having this option! So again you claim to be neutral but you are anything but! I am going to call my lawyer and see if I can take out a class action against you, this is ridiculous! To let someone destroy my business over a fake review and an $18 order...    And no I cant move pass this, it's wrong! All your representative's agree with me and I have recorded phones calls so you cant say its not the case! Your policy's allow people to take advantage of me and that is not something I can get pass because next week it can happen again and you will send the send messages from the book your reading! I'm sick of these "stock" message's and no one opening their eyes and looking at the actual situation. You and Etsy should be ashamed of yourself, you have an angry person on your team, that brings you money and wants to figure out how to move away if this is how I will be treated...    Please reply with an email or phone number that I can have my lawyer contact you through also.   Sincerely, Jose.   ---------------

Hi Jose,

I apologize if this situation has left you feeling unsupported as a member of Etsy; that certainly is not our intention. I completely understand your continued concern regarding this matter.

I think you did a really good explaining your thinking on the matter and why you disagree with the decision. With that said, I’m not able to override the decision or the policies we have in place, but I can explain a bit further in hopes of helping you understand our position here.

This buyer placed the original order #000000 on June 28 and this is the order that the review was left for. To be clear, the buyer did not leave a review for the 2nd order they placed on July 2.

You do have the right as a seller to refuse service to a buyer if you choose not to do business with them, however because the review was left for the original order the buyer has a legal right to review this transaction.

Please remember that reviews are a buyer's opinion of the experience they've had with a transaction and Etsy is unable to investigate the validity of those opinions or statements made in reviews. In order to maintain an unbiased and transparent review system, we are only permitted to remove reviews that are in violation of our policies.

That being said we don't want to see you have these issues again and I would strongly recommend that you reconsider your customer service communication approach when dealing with a difficult customer.

Please note that we take customer service very seriously and count on sellers to provide positive service to their buyers at all times. Going forward, we ask that you provide your customers with service they can rely on. This includes communicating with your buyers respectfully and professionally, even if you've encountered a difficult situation.

"I SEE YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND RUN SCAMS... TRUST ME i WILL FIND OUT EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU... REMOVE THAT FAKE REVIEW! YOU RECEIVED A REFUND AND DUE TO YOU BEING AN IDIOT AND ORDERING A SECOND TIME AFTER BEING TOLD NOT TO ORDER WE WOULDN'T BE IN THIS SITUATION! https://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/tyson-training/lanham-maryland-20785/tyson-training-joe-tyson-joseph-tyson-fitness-gym-personal-training-lanham-maryland-1384754

"HOW CAREFUL? I'M GOING ALL THE WAY, DIRTY! WANT TO RUIN MY BUSINESS OVER SOME FLIP FLOPS AND YOUR STUPIDITY, WATCH WHAT I DO!"

are a strict violation of our service level agreements and reports of this type of behavior may force us to suspend your account and we really don't want that to happen.

At this point we understand that neither of you wish to communicate with one another and the buyer has also written in to state that they wish no further communication so we kindly ask that you refrain from contacting them again.

I know that reading all of this will likely not alleviate your frustrations with this whole matter, but I do hope it’s clear that you have been heard. It goes without saying that if you need anything else at all or experience a difficult transaction in the future, please reach out to us directly before letting it escalate to this degree.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Best,

Keith

Dear Etsy,

Yes, you have to implement a BLOCK action, button or system for us sellers that you so much hold in value to succeed!!!! The system is flawed!!!! PERIOD!!!! You allow an avenue for sellers to be bullied!!!! Why are you ignoring this issue and clear valid point? You are going to be raising prices and fee's but not raising the quality of your services. WHY IS THERE NOT A BLOCK BUTTON, IF I CAN NOT STOP SOMEONE FROM LEAVING ANY KIND OF REVIEW THEY want? THIS WOULD ALLOW YOU TO REMAIN "NEUTRAL" AND NOT EVEN HAVE THIS ISSUE! BUT YOU WANT TO CONTINUE TO TRY TO MAKE THIS ALL MY FAULT, WHEN I CLOSED MY STORE TO FILL ORDERS! AND WAS MORE THAN PROFESSIONAL UNTIL I LOST IT AFTER A TON OF EMAILS.. JUST LIKE ANY HUMAN BEING MIGHT DO!   AND ONE LAST THING, IF I UPLOAD MY CONVERSATION ONTO SOCIAL MEDIA TO "SHARE MY EXPERIENCE" WITH ETSY , WILL I BE BREAKING ANY RULES, POLICIES OR WHATEVER ELSE YOU CALL THEM? I DONT WANT TO GET SUSPENDED UNTIL I FULLY FIGURE OUT WHERE I AM GOING TO BE SELLING MY PRODUCTS NEXT, BUT AT THIS POINT IM NOT GETTING THE SAME REVENUE SO REALLY DOESNT MATTER. You can play down how destructive this review is, but you and I know the true value... just look at my sales and revenue. Jose   ---------------------------------------------
