Euromillioes Loteria International Promotion Program ripoff Madrid, Spain

This letter was sent to my mother stating that she too had won a lottery on June 23, 2006 in the amount of 785, 510.00 and she needed to contact them before Sept 28th to claim her winnings. The claims agent name is Dr Carlos Gomez. I work in a financial institution and am very familiar with these scams-so I checked on the internet-and low and behold-there it was titled "Ripoff".

The letter stated that 10% of the money-after depositing her share of course-would be paid to the claims agent (listed above). There was a 2nd sheet that she would fill out with all of her banking information so that they could either bank wire or deposit the money into her account (after getting her account and routing information, no doubt)

There should be someone who can stop this sort of thing from happening. My mother is elderly and is terminally ill and this type of thing just infuriates me!!
