Oakland Shores Condo Associates Inc had a cloud of corruption over it for years. It is one of the few condo associations in Oakland Park that do not require one year or more of the unit owner to live on property in order for the unit owner to rent out the unit. As such, the condo association, Oakland Shores Condo Associates Inc, has a lot of investors but less engaged owners that actually vote and live on property. This is where the organized corruption sets in.

 

Since moving into Oakland Shores I have been constantly harassed for speaking out about the no-bid contracts that one board member always gets. Since moving into Oakland Shores I have had private investigators sent to my place of employment to harass me. These people are organized criminals comfortable living in a world of no bid contracts and scamming and ripping off all of the other unit owners of Oakland Shores.

 

The board at Oakland Shores is a corrupt group of individuals. If you buy property here, know that the board has a HISTORY of harassment against the home owners and renters. If you want to run the risk of moving into a corrupt condo association, or moving somewhere where you can get harassed into moving and go through the process of paying for more two more rounds of moves and closing costs all so these corrupt individuals can continue to rip off the neighbors that they have, then take the RISK and buy/move into Oakland Shores.
