I just stopped working for Evans for many reasons. I was promised alot upfront to start working there and have not recieved any of it. Also, I have yet to recieve one of my guaranteed 250$ checks. Also I have some commissions still owed that I will probably never see. They lie so much it hurts my head to think about. Some of there pages they show you have been altered to come across a better company. I would love to help your lawsuit.

#2 UPDATE Employee
I feel sorry For the employees at Evasn Glass

I feel sorry for all the employees of Evans Glass trying to earn a living and support their families. There are over 300+ employees with Evans Glass. Some of them have been there for years.
Many sales reps have been for years as well. If they were not getting paid there commissions due to them do you think they would still be working here. It is so easy for someone to put the blame on someone else for not succeeding at a company. Its sad really. Its to bad one or two bad apples are trying to ruin it for 300+ employees that depend on Evans Glass to support their families.
I read these letters posted from ex-employees and it saddens me. Evans Glass helps hundreds of customers solve there energy needs with window replacements every month. Yet you rarely see a complaint from a customer about paying to much or the windows were installed poorly. These are the real complaints you should be looking for. You will hardly ever see them because Evans glass does good work at a fair price. Evans glass takes care of there customers and there employees. For every negative comment made About Evans Glass on this website I can probably get 80 positive responses from current employees of the company. So for all the ex-employees who did not make a career at Evans Glass. I truly am sorry It did not work out for you. I wish you the best of luck at the next company you work for.
Happy employee

I back up all the reports I've read about Evan's Glass (ex sales manager)

I'm an ex Sales Manager of this corrupt organization. I quit this company almost a year ago and finally got the rest of my money ( so Matt says). I'm currently going through all my reports from them, to start contacting All my jobs they say cancelled. I have heard from several past employees, about Evan's saying "that job cancelled" and finding out the client got new windows. When I came to this company, they were doing about 50-60k a month in sales. When I left, after about six months, I was a big part of this company doing around $1.8 million a month, through hiring and treating my sales staff with respect. The main reason I left is, Evan's hired me on a certain pay structure, SIGNED CONTRACT and Matt Flath told me, QUOTE, "I would love nothing more, then to write you a $12-15k manager bonus check a month".
Matt Flath, Corey Brown, and myself all signed the pay structure CONTRACT, while sitting in Corey's office. After myself and the other Sales Manager (my good friend Dustin) got their business going strong and getting close to those nice bonus checks, they came to us with a new CONTRACT, cutting our pay in half! What a great and greedy way to say thanks for your 80+ hours a week of hard work. When Robert Jonas approached us with this new pay structure CONTRACT, it was very clear through tone, body language, and words, it was either sign or your fired. Dustin refused and got fired. I was not in the position to fight it (yet), so I signed.
Robert Jonas then took my copy of the first CONTRACT out of my folder, when I was not present and did Lord knows what with it. I'm sure the CONTRACT was destroyed (eliminate all evidence). Robert Jonas, WOW, what a phsycotic piece of work. When I was upset about what they were doing to my pay, he took me outside to talk about it. When we were a few minutes into our conversation, Robert got very RED in his face because I was not agreeing with what was going on. I honestly thought he was going to loose it and attack me, physically, so I ended the conversation and went back in the office, where there were other people present (for safety).
I could take up all the memory space on this site, with experiences and information about the most corrupt business I have ever worked for. I just want to apologize to all the consumers out there who purchased windows during my time at Evan's. I hired a lot of sales people; therefore, we reached a lot more people, causing chaos in their life. SORRY!!! Al, feel free to contact me. I would LOVE nothing more, then to do my part in trying to repair some/all of the damage done. Thanks and I hope people can find it in their harts to accept my apology.
