I ordered a truck load of gravel from Evans for my driveway. I described in detail to the lady order taker over the phone that i wanted the gravel tailgated from end to end on my driveway and she told me theres a $10 fee for tailgating gravel and i agreed. So when the driver arrived with the load, i explained to him very clearly how i wanted the gravel tailgated from end to end of my drive and he acknowledged and understood what i wanted.

What happened next is as follows. He dumped (tailgated) the entire load of gravel on half my drive and nothing is on the other half. So i end up with 16 tons of gravel 2 feet deep on only half my drive. So the driver gets out of the truck and explains to me how he doesnt have much experience tailgating gravel and this is only his second time.

At this point im ticked and i tell him this is a big problem for me. I call Evans twice and explain the problem and basically they are unwilling to accept responsibility for what happened and only offered to refund me the $10 tailgating fee! Then he tries to tell me i didnt ask for tailgating service (which is a lie because i specifically did when i ordered) because, he tells me, its not printed on the ticket! Then he tells me he will send the girl who took my order to my house with a shovel because she was the one that messed up! Then he tells me he will talk to the order taker then call me back and so far no call back!

Now im screwed and cant use my driveway. Not the kind of company i want to do business with!
