Evans Transport Company Responsible for Transporting Vehicle Damaged it in Transit and Will Not Reimburse for Damages York Haven Pennsylvania

Evans Transport was hired to pick up a vehicle I purchased in St. Louis MO and deliver it to Williamsport, PA.  The vehicle arrived damaged.  When the owner of the company (Anthony Evans) was called and informed of the problem he asked for pictures of the damage which I sent.  He later text me saying he "would take care of this." After a week went by I attempted to call him again and his message center was unable to take calls.  After trying many times, I finally was able to leave messages but he never returned my calls. Now that he knew my direct number he was avoiding me.  This man cannot be trusted.   He only has one truck with two employees that don't know what they are doing.  A real fly by night operation. There was nearly $1000 damage estimated by his insurance company but unfortunately, he had a $2500 deductible.
