Event Resource Took my money and no inventory delivered Culver City California

I ordered 25 tables and 150 chairs from Event Resource.  I sent a certified check with the prepaid FedEx form they emailed to me.  Once they received the check, this is where the fun began.  Up until then, Larry communicated great with me. 

However, once the check was cashed, all communication became frustrating.  It would take 5 phone calls and 3 emails just for Larry to call me back with shipping information that proved to be false.  I was told once that I would receive on Wednesday, June 15th - however, he could not provide me any information regarding the transit company or time.  Then, when I called (again numerous times) he would say that it was going to ship from FL instead of TN so details had changed.  Everytime I'd talk to him he would "promise" to send me detailed information but days later still no reply.  Finally I received a BOL with wording in the email that he would send me Tracking Information.  Three days later I finally got him on the phone (after once again leaving numerous emails and voice mails) and asked where my tracking information was.  And, a repeat of what he says continuously - "I'm not in the office but will send it in an hour and a half" - yes, this has been said many times with no follow through.

I have an event that I need these items for in 8 days.  Will they arrive in time?  I highly doubt.  I fear that I will have to get my legal council involved.

Please do not use this company as your headaches will exceed your expectations.
