Ever after Flower Preservation Paid for Bouquet preservation and did not receive Birmingham, Alabama

I asked my wedding coordinator if she knew of anyone that preserved wedding bouquets back in 2008. She had a card from this company but did not know anything about them. This owner hands them out at bridal shows. I called the owner and she eventually got in touch with me. She asked me if I had looked at her website at the time and I said I had. We was going to come to her business but she said she was going to be out and I met her at Flemings parking lot. (First Mistake).  If I'm not mistaken, I was told she does this out of her home. I told her what I wanted and she understood.

I tried several times getting in touch with her and she finally called me back. I told her I was just touching base with her. We corresponded several times after that by e-mail. She said she needed a portrait of the bride and groom because the bouquet and picture were going to be put in a shadow box. She sent via e-mail what the finished product was going to look like. She stated that because it was a personalized preservation with ordering and etc, she would need the money. It was $350.00. I paid it and it cleared my bank. It is not unusual to pay for merchandise when it is personalized.

I called her, emailed her, faxed her and my husband even went to her address and knocked on the door. He said cars were in the driveway and nobody came to the door. I sent her a certified letter and stated that I just wanted the bouquet back with no questions asked. She didn't respond. I don't know if she did something to the bouquet but I am out $350.00. I am now writing because I have seen the same named business on Oxmoor Road. I have heard that she is still in the community handing out her business cards.

A daughter's bouquet is sentimental and for someone to just not give you the finished product is down right cruel. Buyer beware. She probably will not even admit that she her company was based out of mountain brook now that she had opened up a new business somewhere else. The number on Oxmoor is 205-940-8598. The mountain brook number is disconnected . There are two addresses for this. 600 Old English Lane; Suite 116 B'ham 35223 and 2404 Centerbury Road , Mountain Brook. Her name is Robin.
