#4 Consumer Suggestion

It's not a credit card.

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, June 24, 2007

EverPrivateCard is NOT a credit card.

It's a prepaid card, which means you have to give them your money before you can use the card for anything.

There is a $49.95 membership fee which is collected from your bank immediately when you click to join, and give them your financial date - bank info.

The fee is clearly posted on their homepage.

What's the ripoff here? They clearly state that it's a membership, with a $49.95 fee, and that they offer a prepaid card that can be used at merchant websites. Nowhere do they claim that it's a credit card in the sense of a traditional revolving credit card.

It is PREPAID. After you join you must then deposit into your account with them (put money in to your everprivate card.)

You would be better off using your bank debit card than paying these folks for a membership.
