Correctional Billing Services, also known as Evercom, is charging the innocent family and friends ofincarcerated people an amazing $19.96 for each 15 minute phone call that the incarcerated person makes. This is merely adding insult to injury to the Mothers, Father's, and Children who have suffered enough just having to experience their loved one being charged with a crime and taken away from them.

It has been proven that regardless of the circumstances, children need to have consistent contact with their Mother's and Father's, and it is heartbreaking to think of the reality that most prisoners have young children who desperatley need to maintain contact, but cannot due to the inflated prices this company charges. This is not only about the money they are stealing from innocent families, but it is also about the future of these children involved.

I know from personal experience that even if a father or mother is incarcerated, a child can still grow up feeling good about themselves and their parents as long as there is consistent contact with them. If cildren grow up not knowing they are loved by anyone, they grow up to become a new generation of criminals and lost souls.

We need to put a stop to this price gouging, yet I don't know how o do that, since the people profiting from this are the same people who are in control of stopping it.
