Everest College Giant rip-off, would be better off buying swamp land in Alaska Merrionette Park, Illinois

I too was swindled by the Everest commericals. "Get off your butt, you know you need a career, ya-da-ya-da-ya-da. I would have faired better if I had bought swamp land in Alaska. I went to Everest College in Merrionette Park, IL.  in the 2009.

I grauated with honors in 2010. I even had my sister who already had been in her job for19 years to apply. Hence she is still not speaking to me. After the champagne and roses, it was all downhill from there.  First, my computer teacher had a nervous breakdown after only a few weeks and we were left without a computer teacher. She also went to the hospital at least once a week for mental issues.  Every time you looked up the ambulance was carting her away from the school.  

Next, I spent more time on the internet playing video games due to the fact that we didn't have a teacher.  Several days we had different teachers including one Ms. Ellis, that was also the schools adminstrator. She also left after a couple of weeks. Another teacher's mother died and the whole school was in mourning and again no teacher. I felt the I was playing "Teacher Roulette".

After graduation I did my extership at Roseland Hopspital only to be told "why should we hire anybody when we get a new student every month". I received one assist from career services and was sent to work for Addus Home Health Care agency. I was assigned several homes to go to, only to find out they were looking for a housekeeper. I will  never forget the house I went to and the person answering the door stated "I have to go because 'my housekeeper' is here". I informed her she had it twisted, I'm a medical assistant and I did not spend $20,000 dollars to clean someones house. She reported back to the agency that I was lazy. The school refused to send me or help me find another assignment.

Just recently I spoke to the one and only teacher that took an interest in her students, and she told me that the school was a RIP-OFF and that I should get together with some of the other students and file a law suit. 

I would like to receive any information from other students willing to file a law suit against this joke of a school.  Anybody considering going to Everest "unaccrediated" College should just stay on the couch and watch TV instead.
