I have been enrolled in everest online, last term I applied to max out my student loans in the amount of $6000 not including financial aid. I had a total of $9000 and some change for a total to be applied towards tuition and books. I only got $1021 back....this term I had 3 classes again but 2 of the classes were repeats...and I already have the books for, I only had one new class, but I am only getting $900 some dollars back.

I went to get in my classes today to find out that one of my classes have been dropped without any notification saying I have not had participation in the class. Classes were suppose to start the 27th but the instructor left an email stating he was going to start classes the 30th due to a no break week. I missed my first assignment last week, but I did post in the autobiography section and also sent my instructor an email about 3 days ago saying that i have relocated in another town than i was in and had to get my internet back on.

Today, my class was dropped, and I am told now I owe money because even though the instructor said he was not starting class til the 30th and would not check emails until after that day, I was informed by my advisor I was mandatory to participate....so y not drop the whole class because none of them participated until last week either!!!

Also, where is all the financial aid and loan money going? They say tuition is $4444 for the term, so for instance, last term i maxed out over $6000 in loans plus financial aid of over $3000 which was a total of over $9000, but I only got $1021 back. I was told the money was split over all the terms enrolled...well this term, 2 of my classes were repeats so I only needed to be charged one book and I assume tuition again....but the math is not adding up because when i called the other day i was told im only getting 900 something dollars back and that now I owe money due to being dropped from a class that the instructor chose to start late...that was beyond my control...

This school needs to be shut down and no longer be able to offer any education services...their staff is rude and they apparently have miscommunication levels somewhere because obviously no one knows whats going on with them.
